I don't have a budget to hire a Flash programmer for this project, but I live in Tokyo and would like to offer, in return for services, a box of cool things from Japan that I will mail to you. I have a portfolio swf that loads into a main movie, the portfolio refuses to function on all PCs using Internet Explorer. I've been able to get it to work on a few PCs, but only temporarily, then it stops working. One of the things I've noticed is that on some PCs the thumbnails load one by one on every reload. I recently got my 30D and am trying to learn more about RAW. I am using Photoshop Elements 4.0, but I cant seem to open any of the RAW files. A message just pops up that says the file is damaged or is in the wrong format. How do I edit the RAW files? Well, I've been having serious issues getting my 3d cube to display correctly. I've tried a lot over the past two days and I can't do it. The problem is I need it to be a bit generic in its ability to take a shape, and render it without knowing connection points or anything. Theres an engine, which has models, which has faces, which has points. So I render the scene, which renders the models, which renders the edges, which transforms and renders the points. Simple enough. However, because my edge class and point class are split up, as well as trying to be generic, I had to vary from kirupa's tutorial. Hello, My husband works as an auction manager for an auction house based in Virginia, although the auctions are held every weekend in numerous locations across the united states and he travels to those locations. We are residents of and pay taxes in the state of California. When he is waiting between auction locations (1-3 days in a week), the company pays him a flat fee of $50 per day, even though he is available for the entire day and normally makes $19 per hour. The drain under my 1952 house is cast iron with (presumably) joints packed with okum and lead. Roots have intruded into one of these joints where a horizontal pipe section lying on top of the soil in the crawlspace joins a vertical tee (one side up to the roof, the other underground and out to the street). Well, I've been having serious issues getting my 3d cube to display correctly. I've tried a lot over the past two days and I can't do it. The problem is I need it to be a bit generic in its ability to take a shape, and render it without knowing connection points or anything. » Fixing a cast iron joint
The drain under my 1952 house is cast iron with (presumably) joints packed with okum and lead. Roots have intruded into one of these joints where a horizontal pipe section lying on top of the soil in the crawlspace joins a vertical tee (one side up to the roof, the other underground and out to the street). I believe the cast iron is still sound. What is the best or most economical way to fix this problem which is causing frequent mainline stoppages? I would think repacking the joint would not be too hard, provided there is an alternative to working molten lead into a horizontal joint in a confined space. » Unreliable models
We've had 4 out of 8 models either cancel or fail to return calls/text for a shoot we're doing tomorrow in the past 24 hours. This seems to be typical behavior and I wouldn't be surprised if we lose another one at least. Why are they so unreliable?
